Foxnews - Ahead of Sunday’s big game between the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers, some students in Greeley, Colo., are upset over an anti-gang policy that prohibits them from wearing Peyton Manning’s No. 18 jersey. “They told me I couldn’t wear 18 anymore because it’s a gang number and I had to take it off,” said Konnor Vanatta during an interview with FOX31 Denver on Tuesday. “I’m pretty upset the schools have come down to this and I think they need to start paying attention to the education the children are getting rather than what they’re wearing,” added Pam Vanatta, the student’s mother. A spokesperson for Weld County District 6 explained the policy has been around for more than three years and applies to the numbers 13, 14,18, 31, 41 and 81. “We’re Broncos fans ourselves; it has nothing to do with that. We’re just wanting to set a consistent solid, example,” said district spokesperson Roger Fiedler. Not to be discouraged, Vanatta wore a No. 61 jersey to school on Tuesday to protest the policy.

Awesome protest kid. They told you that you couldn’t wear #18 so you showed up the next day wearing #61. A regular Gandhi right here boys and girls. Although in hindsight maybe the play was to keep wearing the Manning shirt till they were forced to expel you and this became a national story and then the school administrators would tuck tail and apologize like they always do when the general public catches wind of them being power hungry idiots. In fact I think that’s the scariest thing about school administrators. They do this shit 24/7. We only hear about a tiny fraction of these stories when they go viral. 99% of the time they get away with this shit because they don’t have to answer to anybody.  They can do whatever they want whenever they want.  It’s only in those rare instances when they are forced to explain themselves to rationally thinking adults do we get to see how truly stupid they are.

PS – This kid can cut the shit saying he was a Manning fan for a long time.   I’d bet my life he had a Tebow shirt last year.  Fraud.
