USA Today – A member of Diana Nyad’s support team in Key West, says Nyad was taken on to a support boat early today, the AP reports. She says Nyad had run into multiple problems including jellyfish stings and storms at sea. “Instead of getting hit with one doozy they got hit with three,” Linsley says, “They got hit with the weather, they got hit with the jellyfish and they got hit with the sharks all at the same time.” Nyad’s lips and tongue became increasingly swollen overnight, because of salt.
