NATICK, Mass. – A Medway man is accused of chasing three teens with a machete Friday night after they witnessed him breaking into a car. Natick police said a police sergeant was approached by the three teens in the area of 75 West Street at 10 p.m. The teens told the sergeant that they had been fishing when they heard smashing glass coming from the area where they had parked their car. When the teens approached, they observed a man reaching into a vehicle. Upon seeing the teens, the suspect allegedly raised a large bladed object and ran towards them, causing them to run. The suspect then ran off in another direction.

Honestly I would have done the same exact thing if I was this guy. Like what other play is there when three teenagers have just busted you breaking into a car and you’re holding a machete? The only option is to chase them for a couple minutes screaming that you’re gonna machete their dicks off if they tell anybody what they saw. He was in way too deep to do anything else at that point.   The time for diplomacy had passed. Anybody who says they wouldn’t have done the same thing at that point is lying.
