WINDHAM Investigators probing Selectman Ross McLeod searched his Nottingham Road home Wednesday. His attorney, Rusty Chadwick, said investigators are “looking at another matter” separate from a fantasy football league and his correspondence about it from work that led to McLeod’s resignation from his county prosecutor’s job. “While investigating the initial gambling allegations, we uncovered evidence of another crime that led us to apply for and secure a search warrant for Mr. McLeod’s residence,” Young said. “The matter that led us to the house with a search warrant is an offshoot of additional investigation.” She would not elaborate on the specific alleged criminal activity. McLeod continues to maintain there has been no wrongdoing on his part. He resigned from his job as assistant Hillsborough County prosecutor in February after political activist Corey Lewandowski obtained and released emails showing the prosecutor corresponded from his work account about a fantasy football league. McLeod later tried to withdraw his resignation, but County Attorney Dennis Hogan refused to reconsider. The Attorney General’s Office has been looking into the matter for nearly five months to determine if McLeod broke any laws.State law prohibits gambling and actions by public employees to influence voters while performing official duties.

What am I missing here? This guy lost his  job because he sent fantasy football emails from his work computer? And now a search warrant has been issued at his home? All stemming from a fantasy football investigation? Umm is this earth? Seriously people wonder how the United States has a 294 trillion dollar debt. Well it’s because of shit like this.  Full blown investigations on dudes making fantasy football trades during work hours. Unbelievable. No other word for it. Unbelievable. This guy must have fucked everybody’s wife in Windham. That’s the only possible explanation I can come up with.
