I Guess I Can Officially Throw Away All My Brien Taylor Rookie Cards?
NEW BERN, N.C. — Former New York Yankees pitching prospect Brien Taylor has been sentenced to 38 months in prison after pleading guilty in August to distributing crack cocaine.Taylor was the No. 1 overall selection in the 1991 draft and got a then-record $1.55 million signing bonus, but he never threw a pitch in the major leagues.
Fucking A Man. Do you know how many packs of Alexander the Grapes, Cherry Chans and Lemonheads I skipped out on to load up on Brien Taylor rookie cards? What a bad investment. Now I’m going to need a serious up tick in Becketts for my Gregg Jeffries rookie cards or I’m afraid my entire childhood baseball card venture could go right down the drain. Ricky Jordan’s not walking through that door.
Come on Gregg! I’m counting on ya!

this blog was way funnier than it should have been

I bought the dontrelle willis rookie card when he came out, thought he’d be the next big thing. Now I can’t even get a bulbasor or pikachu for him
Ken Griffey Jr – Upper Deck Rookie Card was worth a mint back in the day. I knew a kid that owned 4 of them around 1991. I bet they are worth 4 bucks now. LOL @ card collectors
You could get anybody to do anything for that Griffey Upper Deck rookie card
Ha I got like 20 of those. He was the hottest prospect back in the day. Think it was 94 not to sure though. I remember everyone wanting this card and nobody wanted to come of of it. He went and got hurt though
