I’m Getting Zero Credit For Breaking The Story That The Lockout Ended And It’s Starting To Piss Me Off
So I broke the news that the NHL lockout ended this weekend. Yeah I’m a reporter now. NHL Insider, no big deal. And I’m not one to scream “look at me! look at me!” so I haven’t really made a big thing about it. Then someone just sent me an email that Boomer fucking Esiason is getting credit for it. Apparently he was on D&C this morning getting praised. Everyone saying it’s so crazy that a football guy broke the hockey news. Well calm down guys, because he didn’t. I did. I said it at 8:47 PM. When did Boomer?
Oh 9:46. That’s a full hour late, people! I broke the goddamn story. I sent direct messages to all the NHL Stoolies and those jabronis didn’t even know yet. I told them that they’re no longer unemployed. I think that technically means I hired them. So it’d be nice if people started giving me some credit and not that idiot named Boomer.
