Personally I don’t think it’s offensive at all. It just seems like if your nickname is the Blackhawks other teams are going to say they want to scalp you. So if you have a problem with the sign the bigger problem is the team name. I have a problem with neither. But I’m not Native American so what do I know.

I’m more offended by the fact that the sign is wrong. Scalping means cutting the top of the head/hair off, not the whole head. the coyote should be holding the hair that’s on the ground, and the head (minus the hair) should be on the ground. if you’re gonna make an offensive sign, at least make it correct
