Lets be honest and just say that series was boring as hell. It was definitely fun last year when the bruins went on their run and it was necessary to win and complete the boston big 4 championship sweep. But st the end of the day no one really gives a shit about the bruins. The celtics of the past 4 years have been a classic, all-time team that everybody should be rooting for. They may not win, but they will go down fighting and they will have absolutely no fear of anyone. You’re completely off base. Top seeded teams get knocked off in hockey often because the teams that make it to the playoffs tend to all be good – meaning that there isn’t always a huge difference between a 1 and 8 seed.
That doesn’t happen in basketball because it’s not a team sport. 1 or 2 players can win a championship and the league is completely unbalanced with 3 or 4 teams being lightyears better than the rest of the league. That’s not exciting.
