Am I the only one that saw Ertz bobble the ball after they said he was down inbounds? Not to say they wouldn’t have scored anyways, but that call was horrible and wrong.
Absolutely nauseating.
here come the irish!
Absafuckinloutely. You faggots have nothing to bitch about. They did it the hard way, against real teams, on the road. Deserved to be #2 this week… indisputable #1 now. Try to debate it you fucking homers.
ND will get beat by 21 by Bama or Georgia. Can’t wait
that’s what they said about michigan state, oklahoma and stanford! ND WON THEM ALL
They were going to get beat by 21 against Oklahoma, and Stanford. Didn’t Alabama get throttled by a freshmen of a team that was going to get beat by 21? You SEC poseurs live in a fucking dream world – your conference is so beyond overrated it’s hilarious.
Get me a Score Don’t Lie t-shirt
@CLC he bobbled it at first, then gained possession of the ball….as he rolled onto his right shoulder he shifts the ball “awkwardly” between his two hands…but I agree… although awkward, possession was maintained the entire time. #Touchdown.
Did it the hard way huh? (Miami, Purdue, BYU, PITT, BC, Wake Forest, Navy) You are one of those ppl who think the W over MSU was a good win still. They lost to iowa at home, so forget that as a good W. ND sucks. Let’s not forget that Stanford RB was clearly in the end zone.

@dinky I get what you’re saying. But after his right shoulder lands, the ball moves again. The play doesn’t just stop right when his shoulder hits. Isn’t the receiver supposed to maintain possession throughout the entire process? If he is, then Ertz didn’t.
Jealousy doesn’t suit you, mogul. I suppose it’s understandable when you only have .5 championships in the last half century. Long live Bo and losing in the Rose Bowl.
Listen up faggots. USC will beat ND’s ass next week. UF will lose horribly to FSU. Then Kansas State will lose to Texas, and Oregon State will make Oregon suck it’s beaver dick. After that, you end up with Alabama (11-1) at #1 and Florida State 11-1 at #3. The BCS Championship game will be FSU Vs SEC Conference Winner. Yeah I’m a fucking psychic, suck it bitches.
Hey Tally, what’s the name of USC’s backup quarterback?
Tallyfrat with one of the more preposterous comments in the Stool’s recent history.
The second most happiest person behind Brian Kelly tonight was Nick Saban. Alabama back in the BCS title game scenario.
bama v oregon … irish lose by alot to usc
Notre dame fucking sucks
If Notre Dame makes the NCG (looking more likely now that it appears Barkley’s career at USC is over), they will be embarrassed. Hear me now, believe me later.
The next top 10 ranked team that ND beats will its first this year.
As a FSU student, “TallyFrat”s comment makes me want to transfer…badly
WHOOOOOOOO CAAAAAAAAAAAARES!!!!!!!! College football=WNFL
Notre Dame should do themselves a favor and lose with dignity to USC next weekend because they are going to get totally assed by absolutely anyone they play in a championship game.
I do hope tallyfrat is right on that.
I live there….
BobbyO, Oklahoma was #12, Stanford #13, and Michigan was #21 coming into this week. Given how they all played this week, like, u know, knockin off the #2 team in CFB should make you shut up…
@anything. Your argument is quality wins? You sure you want to go with that? Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida Atlantic, Missouri (who just lost to ‘cuse), Western Carolina, and Auburn. You fuckers really are idiots, aren’t you? Oregon is still the best one loss team in the nation.
redips, go suck a dick
@jay bizzle. Couldn’t agree more. Lets play random games against 100 random teams then try to figure out which 1 loss team out of 10 gets to play in title game. Retarded
Redips you better light some votive candles and pray to the virgin mary that you tank out next weekend you domer fool. Any coach with half a brain will stack the box and make that jamoke of a quarterback you keep trotting out throw the ball. Saban must be licking his chops
put ND up against LSU, SCar and Tex A and M in consecutive weeks and see how they fare
Pretty sure Oklahoma was a top 10 team when the irish beat them BobbyO
This is a blessing in disguise. Right now it will suck to hear that ND is #1 and how good they are. But, when they reach that title game and play ANYONE– they will easily lose by 17 points.
Ohio State should #1. Fock all of you faggots.
@redips play teams like TTU, BAY, Ole Miss, Miss St, etc etc. When you have to play teams like that those are the ones who can knock you off. It’s hard to play teams that have the TALENT to win 3,4,5 weeks in a row like teams in conferences do. All ND needed to do was beat OU and Stanford and they knew they could sleep walk the rest of the games. (again don’t forget that stanford game when the RB tied it up but of course ND got the call)
Fuck all the Notre Dame haters. They deserve to be #1. End of story.
Couple of points…OSU should stop cheating…or at least cover it up like a respectable SEC school if they want to be #1. Ertz caught it according to a couple of guys more credible than this unemployed, dick-beating motley’s crew of internet tough guys. There are strength of schedule calculators out there…google is your friend. Congrove, for example, puts 1 SEC team in the top 10. Ole miss (5-6). Notre Dame? 9 SOS; 11-0. ‘Bama? 20 SOS.
ND has the #1 defense ppg, #1 defense touchdowns allowed, #1 in player graduation rate, #1 in network tv dollars, #9 strength of schedule…0 kids raped… $0 paid out to $cam Newton or the like (can that motherfucker even read)… no Phil Knight Nike dollars…Every time I read a ‘SEC iz da best, no kwestion’ post, I hear it in the hillbilly voice from the dixie episode of Family Guy. How ’bout less time spent touting your backwoods conference and more time spent not fucking your sisters?
shit for brains…6 straight national titles. FWIW, it’s been 20 years since ND beat an SEC team.
Actually, Notre Dame has beaten Tennessee twice since 2004 (the only times they’ve played).
You guys don’t like to leave the south. Makes it kind of hard to schedule a series.
midwesttjd is fucking HILARIOUS!! The “fucking your sisters” thing was pure gold. Where’d you come up with that one???
hater’s gonna hate. and ND’s gonna keep rollin. keep crying everyone as we march straight to the BCS… GO IRISH!!!
UT doesn’t count…even Vandy smacks those hillbilly’s around. How’d Brady Quinn do against Fatmarcus Russell and LSU? That’s what I thought…
Redips – no way you can be this stupid. Oregon’s the best one loss team in the country? There are 4 teams in the SEC that would dismantle them. Bama, LSU, Georgia and Florida would all beat them handily. You, sir, are a fucking moron.
the Northern Indiana High School Athletic Conference is finally getting some credit. See: Notre Dame’s schedule
Seriously bro, the SEC has yet to prove anything this year except their ability to beat up on each other. They greatest variance of talent of any conference in the country, and the weakest collective schedules. 3-4 exceptional teams, the rest wouldn’t compete in DII.The SEC rarely steps outside of the conference to play an legit teams, and when they do, they get beat by Boise. And seriously – what do you base your belief that they would beat them handily? Because what… Bamas blowout of Missouri? Georgia’s monster game against Buffalo of FAU? SC… Woffard last week… who?
Oh shit, this is gold.
What other conference can claim 3-4 “exceptional teams”? Annually, at that. Are you arguing the SEC isn’t the best conference in college ball?
They’re certainly not nearly as elite as they think they are. You can’t beat up your little brother in the basement and pretend you rule the neighborhood. At least the Big 10, Big 12, and Pac 12 schools play inter conference games. If you want to look at it “annually”, Pac 12 puts 3-4 of 12 in the hunt, SEC puts 4-5 of 14 in the hunt, Big 10 4-5 of 12. Fairly equal I’d say – The difference being that generally the same teams represent the SEC y/y and so get the bullshit bias when it comes to getting bowl bids. Why do you think the rest of the country wants a playoff system and the SEC doesn’t? It’s because they know something you don’t seem to understand. So to answer your questions… Nope, collectively the SEC is not the best conference in football.
Yeah but the SEC puts 4-5 in the hunt and is on an unprecedented run – so they close the deal. Still trying to understand what you’re arguing
@Reddips you are aware it was Mike Slive, The SEC President, who first put forward the idea of the playoff and it was in fact the Big 10 that was the biggest opponent of the system. So your argument is incorrect. The SEC in fact WANTS a playoff, because we will have two teams in it every year, twice as many opportunities to win the NC.
This whole thing is silly. This week, this year, Notre Dame is the #1 team in the nation. Has the SEC enjoyed a good run the past decade? Certainly. Are any of them at the top of any poll this week? Certainly not. ND has a tougher schedule this season. It’s not hypothetical or up for discussion…it’s an unequivocal fact. 60/60 coaches say so (including every SEC coach). 6/6 computer polls. So what’s all of your respective points? SEC had a harder road to get nearly as far as ND has gotten? No one agrees with you. Out of the basement and into class gentlemen. Get a degree; learn how these measurables work. “Hasn’t won since” and “2 victories against whomever since” is how espn fills up 24 hours with sound. The stats are stupid. This week, this year ND is the best in the land. Thats it.
redips; who are the “3-4″ PAC 12 teams in the mix over the last few years?
This year they had 2.
last year 2.
keep doing you, bro!
Florida needed a miracle in the final minute at home to beat LA Lafayette, needed a pick 6 in the 3rd quarter to put away Jacksonville State, and they’d stomp Oregon? How?
