Yankee fans are morons. I’m from fucking St. Louis (originally) and I even I know that YS was closed in ’74 and ’75 forcing the Yankees to play at Shea. So, one more time for you dummies, they didn’t play there for 85 years and it wasn’t opened for 85 years. Most real baseball historians don’t even consider the ’76 stadium the same as the one in ’73 because it was more of a rebuild than a renovations. The new place (the one they can’t sell out) is the the third Yankee Stadium for all intents and purposes. Please learn about your team before you guys post nonsense.
