Nothing Sadder In Life Than Manatee on Manatee Crime
TBO – Deputies are searching for a woman who was seen on Sunday trying to ride a manatee in shallow water around Fort De Soto Park. A witness took pictures of the woman, who climbed on the manatee’s back for a short ride around 1 p.m. just north of the park’s Gulf Pier, deputies said.If found, the woman could face misdemeanor charges. According to Florida law, it is illegal to “annoy, molest, harass, or disturb or attempt to molest, harass, or disturb any manatee.”
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times. Nothing fucking sadder in life than Manatee on Manatee crime. I mean this is illegal anyway you look at it. Take you pick… Annoying, molesting, harassing, disturbing, public lewdness attempting to molest, harass etc. Guilty on all charges.
