Oklahoma School Forces Kindergartener To Take Off His Michigan Shirt Because They Are Afraid Of Hokeamania
Fox – Michigan Wolverine football apparently is not only frowned upon in the state of Ohio, but also in Oklahoma. An Oklahoma City 5-year-old student was forced to turn his maize and blue T-shirt inside-out by the elementary school principal, according to a report by KWTV News 9. Although he couldn’t sport his family’s favorite school colors, he can wear an Oklahoma Sooners or Oklahoma State Cowboys shirt. The policy has the kindergartener’s mother outraged. “They should really worry about academics. It wasn’t offensive. He’s 5,” she told News 9.
This is just a tiny window into what life is like as a Michigan man. Th jealousy and hatred that we encounter everyday. It is all part of the territory that comes along with having the best athletic program, best academic program and best looking alumni in the country. Michigan makes people sweat. Makes people feel insecure about their own lives. So it’s only natural everybody wants to take a shot at the king. Doesn’t matter if you are in Ohio or Oklahoma. And no story proves it more than this. But what this school and the rest of the country fail to realize though is you can take the man out of the Michigan shirt, but you can’t take the Michigan out of the man. And therein lies the difference.

We had a much needed storm come through here last night and take out our internet so I want to apologize right away to everyone who has been anxiously awaiting my response to this. First of all, I hope to God someone has the common sense to fire the teacher, the principal, the administrators, the councelors, the bus drivers, the janitors and anyone else that even thought this was a good idea. I see people on here just proving Pres right and its a cross we alumni must bear. It is true we lost to App State, I know there are haters out there that hitch their wagons to that falling star, but it is true. Then again, that was the year we beat Florida in the Capitol One Bowl, I was there personally great game. That was sandwiched in between a pair of national titles for Florida so that must have been a really down year for them right? I mean Tebow must have sucked that year? No wait, let me look at that again… oh, that was the year he won the Heisman Trophy by shattering records and destroying all those great SEC defenses… hmm, that is most peculiar then. Yes, we have lost 4 straight to our little brothers in Lansing… of course that comes on the heals of 6 straight wins over them, so they haven’t even broken .500 in the last decade much less overall, but still it is the best their program has seen in generations. Yes, Ohio State did have the upper hand on us beating us 6 straight times and 8 out of 9 seasons… then again that does follow nearly 3 decades of domination by Michigan, but I guess we only have very, very short memories in Columbus so that’s okay. Yes once again, the haters come out in full when Michigan is mentioned but that is only because it forces them to look at their own insignificant schools and think of what could have been, if only they were smarter, faster and better looking.
