What I get from reading these comments is there are a whole bunch of rich stoolies who won’t be affected by Mitts tax hike on the middle and lower class. Cut tax rates down 20% but eliminate loopholes that make up 30% of tax breaks leaves you with a 10% tax burden increase.

The Democrats dont have any interest in raising the poor up. In an ideal world Republicans are the proponents of small government, effective regulation (not overburdening regulation), a free and fair market, not letting the government legislate on morality (it’s the individual’s decision), leaving as much as possible up to the states, and encouraging innovation and progress.
Unfortunately the only place you’ll see a republican like this is in fiction or cowering from their rabid, deranged party.
