good stuff from Vince Wilfork today during his press conference. Heard the whole thing on 98.5 during lunch but this is all I could find online:

Welker is awesome. Quotes from today in case you missed it-

1. On this week of preparation: “Everybody’s putting their best foot forward.”

2. On young players in the playoffs: “You can’t just stick your toe in the water. You gotta jump right in.”

3. On playing this year as opposed to last year: “It’s definitely different. You know, you’ve got your foot up in the air trying to get the swelling to go down. Definitely excited about the opportunity to get out there and have some fun.”

4. On the opportunity this week: “These are the games you play for. What you spend all year getting ready for and you just want to put your best foot forward.”

5. On Revis: “He’s got great feet.”

6. On Revis again: “He’s very patient, has good feet.”

7. On Deion Branch: “He runs some really good routes out there . . . He’s another guy with great feet and can really move around.”

8. On practice: “You want to make sure you’re putting your best foot forward out there and making it happen.”

9. More on practice: “Us going out there and being good little foot soliders and making sure we’re going out there and doing everything coach asks us to do.”

10. On seeing new things in the playoffs: “You definitely have to be on your toes and make sure you’re ready to go.”

100% intentional, he smirks a bit after the 3rd or 4th foot referance. Unreal.

happy to report that after numerous correspondences with west coast contacts, many back and forth texts with my weekend boss, numerous clicks and computer shutdowns, and 3 hours of sleep, i will now be spending saturday morning thru tuesday morning at the mandalay bay sportsbook.

Just watched inside the nfl. Rex's response when asked what play to run before the FG, "run it or pass it I could give 2 fucks." I'm guessing BB has never given that response when asked about a potential game winning play. Like reggie said, this is a heavyweight vs a lightweight.

Dilfer just became the 3rd former NFL QB, along with Simms and Marino, to say they expect Brady to completely eviscerate the Jets for their comments. Phil Simms was the best though given the exact stats he threw for against the Cowboys after they ran their mouths.

Nick Mangold on twitter- "You know you've struck a chord when people start coming after me about my sister. All I have to ask is, "why so serious"? This is hilarious "

This cracked me up because my drunken reaction at 1:00 am was to make my first jump into twiter and sign up for an account and send numerous messages about his sister. I know I'm one of many and he is not talking about me, but it still cracks me up
