Urban couldn't handle the recruiting nature of the SEC, see Cam and oversigning. He'll take the job and delegate his duties more amongst his all star staff.

I think the admin decided a while a go that Fickell isn't ready to be the HC at tOSU. I think he manages to lose 1 more anyway, in that case Urban will be introduced as HC at halftime of Duke-tOSU bball game.

If Urban is coaching next year it's at Ohio State. Only way he isn't coaching is when it comes time to pull the trigger, he realizes he's enjoyed the ESPN life too much.

BSS sign prominent at Gameday this morning.

Now that Mizzou to the SEC is official, one divisional alignment possibility that I haven't seen anyone really suggest is to move Kentucky west and both Alabama schools east. Yeah, it doesn't shake out perfectly geographically, but it's not too far off and it preserves all of your major rivalries (unless you want to argue that UT-UK and Alabama-Ole Miss are "major" rivalries).

Mizzou is headed to the east.

I don't want to lose the annual game against LSU. I think Mississippi State is the oldest rival for Bama, or very close to it. The two campuses are only about 90 minutes apart.

Yeah, I started reading Mandel's latest column right after posting that and caught that. Guess they're just going with that until they figure out if there'll be a team 15 and 16 and if so who it's gonna be.

If they go to 16 at all, I think they'll convince South Carolina and Florida that they'll gain more than they'll lose by allowing Clemson and Florida State in the conference.

Not sure it's a slam dunk Clemson/FSU would accept an invite, especially if ND joins the ACC. Oklahoma/Okla State, WVU, and Texas Tech would also be possibilities.

I guess Joe Pa will finally be shown the door. Tarnished legacy?

Yeah I think repeated accounts of child molestation, and the cover up will doom him. I understand that he is from the generation that pretty much buried every disgusting thing they did with lies and cover ups but the world we live in now isnt going to.

I managed to read a little about this (I really was avoiding it) I wanted to read what Joe said. I can understand passing it to the administration because he wasn't still a coach, but if a picture of him exists next to that child raper then fuck him to. I'd kill my own family member for crimes like these, with no hesitation.
