I saw Vanessa Carlton at Brighton Music Hall last night. Wasn't a lengthy concert (she was on for 80 minutes), but she bantered well with the audience, who were knowledgeable of her hits, and erupted in applause upon hearing the opening riff of "A Thousand Miles." I'm disappointed that she didn't save that song for the encore...she didn't need to play it mid-set to keep our attention...everybody enjoyed hearing tracks from her new album and was having a good time.
