I can live with the fact that the Bs got outplayed in both games and that's why they're down. But to have the league so blatantly ignore a biting incident is atrocious. When you have your lead PxP guy, color guy, 3rd guy, and two intermission commentators say the league dropped the ball, that speaks volumes. Just makes it real fucking tough to swallow after the fact or not. Biting is the final frontier----you just don't do it and get away with it...unless it's the NHL.

The fact that NBC was allowed to make light of it is a ridiculous embarrassment to the league and the players involved.

Two games in the championship series are on a cable channel that probably doesn't exceed 70% coverage in the U.S, and a player bit somebody and got away with it. This is why I say things like "people can go back to not pretending they care about hockey when this series is over."
