Last year Mayor Menino threw a free Wiz Khalifa concert at City Hall. The city hired like 3 cops to work the event.  The crowd got so rowdy that Wiz actually got chased of stage and naturally fights broke out every two seconds. I thought for sure it would never happen again. Wrong. Today it was Mac Miller’s turn. Once again chaos in Boston. To the point I’m getting emails from kids saying they had to shut down the subway because it turned into complete anarchy. Seriously Mumbles never ceases to amaze me. All you hear from him is you can’t do this and you can’t do that.  He’s as anti nightlife as it comes.  He won’t open the Garden to let people watch the Bruins but he will encourage 30 thousand teenagers to come get shitfaced at city Hall for a giant concert/riot.  He won’t let soda be sold on public property, but he will try to recreate Woodstock and get people killed.  It’s like you think Menino is going to zig and then he zags.   Just when you think you have him figured out you see this shit.  Letting  30 thousand kids bring backpacks filled with shit into City Hall Plaza and go nuts with no security in sight.  It’s wild.   And yet still somehow I’m not allowed to throw 18+ concerts in Boston because our crowd is too crazy.    That makes sense.
