3rd Miami Of Ohio Sorority Suspended In As Many Weeks For Acting Like Sluts
OXFORD – A third Miami University sorority is in trouble after its members acted up during a drunken spring formal event. The Beta Delta Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was placed on probation for two years Tuesday for an April 23 outing in which they drank, harassed and threatened the bus driver with A Savannah Nite Limousine Service and yelled obscenities at him on a trip to and from the Cincinnati Zoo. “There was trash and vomit throughout the entire bus. Passengers were unruly and disrespectful and had no regard for the driver, who in turn, refused to continue the return trip,” said a Miami University report obtained by The Enquirer. “They were calling him a (derogatory homosexual slur) and poking him in the back of the head,” McKinney said. He described some of the behavior on the bus that prompted his driver to call him and get him out of bed. McKinney said he called police and beat them to the scene. “Some of the guys were chasing the driver around in the parking lot. I got up on the bus and said, ‘I want everyone off my (expletive) bus now,’” McKinney said.
The April 23 incident was the third case of university discipline stemming from Greek spring formals.
Alpha Xi Delta, the sorority accused of drunken behavior and destruction at a spring formal at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, accepted a two-year suspension from Miami. Freedom Center officials reported that sorority members and their dates urinated all over the building, defaced restrooms, intentionally crashed drinks on the dance floor, vomited all over restrooms and at the dinner table, swore at the staff and tried to steal bottles of booze from the bar. One male partygoer tried to urinate on the 19th-century slave pen.
Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women accepted a one-year suspension for similar behavior at its April 9 formal at Lake Lyndsay Lodge in Butler County.

As a proud alumnus and attendee at many of these formals over the years, I can honestly say that miami sorority/fraternity formals are some of the most hilarious events on earth. As a male, the goal of these formals is to get mindlessly fucked up, hopefully break some shit, and bang your date in a hysterical place. If your date isn’t down, you seek out one of 100-120 other smokes who would be into it. If you’re a chick, the goal is to get supremely fucked up and get fucked by your date in a hysterical place… or fuck his friend who you happen to think is hotter.. The stories of ass to mouth, gang bangs, mid dance floor hand jobs, bus orgies, etc. are endless…

Miami is actually a top flight educational institution, fraught with people who like to party… hard. And fuck. Often. just a little fact. at one point miami of ohio was one of the top 5 schools in the nation that Playboy went to to find new playmates… my brother went to miami of ohio and i visited him a few times and i surely wasnt disappointed by some of the smokeshows it had to offer.
