I’m sorry… what’s the controversy here?  What did the cop do that was so wrong?  It’s simple.  If your father is writhing on the floor having a seizure and you need and ambulance, you’ll get one.  All Sgt. Robert McFarland asks is that you make politeness, etiquette and good manners be your top priority.  How hard is that?  And if you can’t follow the basic rules of civil discourse, he’ll call you a “stupid ass” then make up a new law off the top of his head and arrest you for it.  Frankly I don’t think the good sergeant is asking too much that we as a society clean up the foul, offensive language that’s ruined the pleasant conversations 911 used to be known for.  So sue him if this little buffoon can’t handle a little lesson in manners.
