A Monday Morning Tradition Like None Other…Ranking Gronk’s TD Spikes
Even though it’s New Year’s Eve I still had to rank yesterday’s Gronk spike. Yeah I know it wasn’t even worth talking about, but I just wouldn’t be me if I didn’t do it. Anyway I gave it a 1.4. It will forever be known as “The Sad Spike” and it kind of symbolized his day. Gronk just seemed like a sad little boy playing with that cast on. Or as a commenter said a dog wearing a cone around his head. He lost all his spunk. He just wasn’t himself. That cast sapped all his energy and it showed on that lackluster spike. That wasn’t a Gronk spike. I don’t know who that was, but it wasn’t him.

I was surprised gronk played at all. I guess it was good for him to get some game speed reps but they didn’t him to beat the fish.. The bye week is huge. everyone this time of year is dinged up and an extra week to ice and rehab and study game film won’t go to waste with the Pats. As for the entire media lining up to lick Manning’s balls. We’ve seen it all before. I have to give Manning credit for coming back as strong as he has but the non stop Sports Center fellatio he receives gets old real quick.
