Adam Lambert “Too Dangerous” For Good Morning America
(CNN) — The fallout from Adam Lambert’s risqué American Music Awards performance keeps coming with “Good Morning America” canceling the singer’s live performance scheduled for Wednesday morning. “The Early Show” on rival network CBS was quick to announce that they have booked Lambert to perform and discuss the controversy on Wednesday morning.
In all my years of living I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody have as big an impact on the free world as quickly as Adam Lambert has. I mean you literally can’t turn on the TV, open a newspaper, read the Internet without hearing about this 1 man entertainment machine. He’s like Britney Spears, Sinatra, Madonna, Tina Turner and Elvis all rolled into one. Seriously you think he gives a fuck that Good Morning America cancelled his performance? He doesn’t need them. He’ll just go on The Early Show and be twice as huge now because of the controversy. I’m telling you the Billboard Charts must be pissing themselves right now. Because today is the first day that his new album is available and it may be another decade until anybody but Adam Lambert is at the top of the charts. He’s that good. He’s that dangerous. He’s a performer, not a musician. His voice isn’t good. The only thing he did remotely good was mad world, and that was because he didn’t scream through the whole thing. He should stick to theatrical performances and leave the singing to people who have a voice. I saw his performance on youtube the other night, and it had to have been the most flat, boring song I’ve ever heard. He had to make out with a dude to cover up the fact he can’t sing. What is with American Idol fans? What is so good about hearing other people’s music performed almost as good as the original. Even his album is going to be written by someone else.
