Awesome Military Family Reunion Before SC Georgia Game
Youtube - The Faile family from Kershaw, South Carolina, was the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Military Family of the Game, set to be recognized on the field. Their first surprise was a message to them from their dad/husband, Sergeant First Class Scott Faile, playing on the video board, followed by an even bigger surprise. The Gamecocks would go on to beat Georgia, 35-7, just as Sgt. Faile predicted.
I feel like half the time I see soldier surprise videos like these they are staged. Like the family knows the dad is in the house. Well that clearly wasn’t the case here. This one was awesome. You can’t fake this type of emotion. I’ve watched it 20 times and I laugh/smile everytime as the family hauls ass towards the dad.
PS – I’ve listened to this speech 20 times and I still haven’t heard this guy predict the final score of 35-7. Whatever. I’ll let it lie slide just this time because of the moment.
