Boston.com - “The hit was softer than I expected,’’ Rondo said. “I knew I was going to get hit, going back to last year. It wasn’t as hard as it seemed. I think he tried to go for my face but he hit me in my nose. “But I’ve been hit harder. You just know, you’ve got a feeling. It didn’t hurt, I was just focusing on trying to make a free throw, honestly. I wasn’t mad or anything, that’s part of the game. I’ve been hit way harder.”

I wrote this over the weekend but got too busy yesterday and didn’t have time to post it.   Anyway in case you haven’t noticed the Celtics have won 11 in a row after last night and have the best record in the NBA. On Saturday they absolutely demolished the Bulls with the only highlight or lowlight, depending on how you look at it, being when Brad Miller clotheslined Rajon Rondo as paypack from last year’s playoffs. Hey whatever floats your boat right Brad? I mean nothing like throwing your best haymaker at a dude and having him react like he got bit by a mosquito. Anyway as well as the Celts are playing right now I’m still going to wait before printing up new Title Town shirts until I watch the Christmas Day game vs. Orlando. Because despite our gaudy record we’re still 0-3 vs. the 3 best teams we’ve played so far. (Orlando, Phoenix and Atlanta) Don’t get me wrong I’m drinking the Celtics Koolaide, but mixing in a quality win would still be nice.
