Breaking News! Mark Sanchez Is Fucking a 17 Year Old! (which is legal by way)
Deadspin – So we’ve been working on a story the last couple weeks about Mark Sanchez’s romancing of a 17-year-old girl. She reached out to us first and agreed to cooperate. Then she didn’t. Then she did again. Now, of course, her lawyer has contacted us. The entire story of what this legal letter hints at will be revealed on Tuesday. Rest assured, the lawyer has left out a few details. We won’t publish this young lady’s full name, but if the photos she sent to us from her Blackberry of Mark Sanchez’s bedroom — supposedly taken on her cell phone after she spent the night with him a few weeks ago — were not sent by her, then there’s more to this than previously suspected. Most likely, not, though. Just a hunch. Members of the Jets organization have been made aware of our and her story. They’re in the process of fact-gathering and working on a statement. We’ll keep you updated if anything else happens before Tuesday.
So apparently AJ over at Deadspin has once again taken out his Gawker Gold Card and gone dumpster diving this time buying a story about Mark Sanchez banging a 17 year old girl. Now the age of consent is somehow 17 in NY so I don’t even think this illegal, but Deadspin is still making this story out to be bigger than Watergate. AJ claims the girl emailed Deadspin out of the blue looking to play Let’s Make A Deal. Strikes me as kind of strange because what type of hot 17 year old girl has ever heard of Deadspin before? But they’ve been right so far whenever they’ve paid for scoops so I have no reason to believe otherwise here. Plus a couple months ago I got a bunch of emails and pictures of a chick who goes to Mount Hermon School in Western Mass and was supposedly fucking Sanchez. I’m pretty sure this is going to be the same chick AJ is about to blow up.
More importantly this just points out a subtle difference between Barstool and Barstool Junior. I don’t really have any interest in this type of shit. I feel like what goes around comes around with this type of stuff. I mean I literally get 3 emails a week about Boston athletes fucking chicks or cheating on their wives and I never post it. Just not my business. I start trying to ruin a guy’s life because he slept with some 17 year old when it’s legal and I’m pretty sure that will come back to bite me in the ass when some 16 year old slut pretends she’s 18 on Spring Break. Don’t get me wrong I would have loved to break the Rex Ryan feet story or the Brett Favre texting dicks, but not this one. Because unless there is way more to it that I don’t know about, who gives a fuck right? Plus she doesn’t want the shit posted. Eh, just doesn’t feel right. I’m sure that’s what our NY guys were thinking when they got their asses handed to them again with this story.
PS – The pictures are just to illustrate that this story was out there, but we just chose not to do anything with it.

Prez- There is a big difference between posting something that someone else said happened and getting it straight from the source, which is what Deadspin will get. If you had talked personally to the girl rather than just getting pics from some classmate you’d have some moral high ground here. But really all you had was an unsubstantiated rumor and you didn’t post it because that’d be a clear case of libel if it proved to be untrue. I’m not knocking you, it was the right thing to do. But to come back later and claim you had the scoop isn’t really genuine, even though it may be the case that you did.

Age of consent doesn’t always apply to people that are 18+ years of age. There are some laws that make it ok for a 16 & 17 yr old to have sex but illegal for an 18+ to have sex with 16 or 17 despite the consent being 16.
It’s a confusing and often cloudy legal area.

Like many others here, I’m a huge fan of the site, going on 4-5 years now. Anyone else who has spent any amount of time on Barstool knows that it is NOT the place to go to find moral high ground. That said Prez, your argument doesn’t hold water.
If you can post pictures and make fun of random fat people on the street, random people with giant growths coming out of their head/leg/neck, a drunk & high chick dancing like a whack job at a concert (but some random guy happens to be running a camera on her)…then you can’t say you take the moral high ground on anything.
The chick opted to sleep with a famous quarterback and then tried to seek money or fame from it (hence contacting you, deadspin, and a lawyer). So I’m throwing your argument out Prez. The girl gets no moral high ground when she chose to spread her legs and then contacted a lawyer. As for Sanchez: when a person chooses a profession (athlete/actor) that will make them famous, you get a) the right to fuck nearly anything that moves, and b) the possibility that it’ll end up on the front page of a paper!

The *original* content on this site primarily consists of a slightly updated version of amihotornot.com (congratulations on that, by the way) and video blogs of you eating and bitching.
