Breaking News: Michael Vick To the Patriots?
I’ve been getting all types of reports about Michael Vick coming to the Patriots the last 24 hours. But I’ve been so fucking gun shy because of that asshole who sent me the Jerry Remy thing that I haven’t said anything about it. But I’ve litterally received 10 emails about him being seen at Logan from different unrelated people and supposedly he is on his way to Foxboro as we speak.
DOUBLE UPDATE – He is 100% meeting with the Pats right now. That’s not a guess. That’s a fact. (Poor choice of words by me. He 100% landed at Logan. I made the mental leap that therefore he is 100% meeting with the Pats. Maybe he’s just hanging at the Vineyard, but I doubt it. In any event I’m turning into John Tomase over here.)

As a seasons ticket holder I don’t like the idea one bit. I stop short of thinking seriously about giving my tickets up over it, but this guy is a sick, twisted fuck and I won’t root for him. I don’t want the Patriots to be associated with him in any way other than crushing him when he’s on an opposing team.

Bill is probably doing Vick a favor by interviewing him. If the Jets see that the Patriots are interested they’ll bring him in next week and probably sign him.

He is signing with Seattle. They are signing him on Tuesday. He will start as the #3 QB but probably be #2 by the time the season starts since Wallace will be moved once camp injuries occur and his value goes up.
Mora will make a statement on it over the weekend, but it won’t be done until Tuesday. He will be on the practice field next Thursday.

I was among the most shocked when they signed Dillon in the summer of 04. I never thought that Krafty Bob and his wife with the ocean spray logo that doubled as a wig, would condescend to add him to the roster then. Especially after the whole Peter draft incident.
Reason would tell you they are just driving up the price or maybe someone is doing a favor at the league, agent, or executive level. Stuff like that goes on all the time in other industries.

The hot rumor today, as evidenced by 25 or more e-mails we’ve received on the topic, has been that quarterback Mike Vick was spotted on a plane to Boston’s Logan Airport.
Various versions of the rumor have been shared with us, with the details ranging from the flight occurring Thursday night to Friday morning.
The fact that the rumor was discussed on WEEI radio in Boston earlier today has done little to contain it, and the thing has now morphed into a rumor (possibly more) that Vick actually is meeting with the Patriots.
The locally popular Barstool Sports blog has ventured onto a limb on this one, reporting that Vick currently is meeting with the Patriots: “He is 100% meeting with the Pats right now,” the web site states. “That’s not a guess. That’s a fact.”
We don’t know whether Vick is or isn’t meeting with the Patriots. But since coach Bill Belichick didn’t rule out the possibility of signing Vick earlier today, we won’t rule out the possibility that Vick is in the building as of this very moment.
