I absolutely love this guy’s dedication to the lie. I mean he had to know he was wrong the second no one else let up, right? After the first fist pump he was just like “fuck. Blew that one.” But that didn’t stop him from celebrating his victory. Nope. 1 guy passed, 2 guys passed, 3, 4, 5, doesn’t matter. Keep pumping your fists bro. They’ll think they fucked up. 6, 7, 8 more passed. Stand up on the bike with both your hands in the air. That will sell it! Dude is gonna be like Seinfeld in 10 years, still claiming he won the race. Sure he may have finished in 14th place, but at least he got to celebrate like a champion after winning that lap right before the last one. Not everyone can say that.
