It sucked Michigan lost today, but even the great ones cannot win every time. It was funny, the people watching at the bar we were in today were not so much Michigan fans as they were Ohio State haters. Turns out no matter where you go in this country, everyone hates Ohio. No idea why we went away from the offensive plan that worked so well in the first half, but I wasn’t the one making the calls. I would say that this is what the future is going to look like for this series, close games that come down to last possession. I read the talking heads stating how awesome Urban Meyers was, and to his credit he is a great coach. Let’s also try to keep in perspective that he took over a very deep and very talented Ohio State team that was making regular appearances in the National Championship games, not winning, but certainly appearing. Hoke on the other hand, inherited a team that had 1 offensive weapon, no special teams and a 110th ranked defense whose best player was a walk on. Today he beat the number 4 team in the country in the first half and held them to a pair of field goals in the second. I can hardly wait until Devin Gardner, who played the first 2/3 of the season as a receiver, has a full season under center. Just think, Brady’s recruits are only just beginning to come in! This rivalry is going to get very entertaining in the near future and with the farce of a joke of a sham BCS going away, it will have national title implications. Best yet, Michigan State only had a down year but is improving, Penn State won’t be on sanctions forever, Nebraska and Wisconsin will rebound and we can return this house to what it was. To the other conferences I would just say; “heard you missed us, we are on our way back now. Sorry for the absence, hope you all got a chance to experience what we have for a century.”

Ped State is a “feel” good story (get the subtle child rape joke I slid in there?) with 8 wins. You don’t have. Team jn the Top 10 – it’sike 90% SEC. But I still like the Big 10 more than The Golden Showers of Notre Dame, who absolutely would have lost by 14 if Barkley was under center tonight, so you got that going for you.

segul, what does being born in Ohio have to do with anything? 90% of players and coaches work/play in different parts of the country. Coaching at Bowling Green isn’t even a real job, it’s like a level beneath intramural flag football. He became a coaching powerhouse in the SEC, and taking from the SEC is the only thing the Big 10 has going for it. Not hating, more power to you (literally and figuratively).
