WEBSTER GROVES When Chaminade’s Mason Hutson kicked a 48-yard field goal with 6.9 seconds left in Saturday’s Class 5 quarterfinal game, it looked like Webster Groves’ promising season was over. The Statesmen, the top-ranked team in Class 5, had time for one last play. Then Derrick Dilworth found sophomore wide receiver Demetrius Robinson streaking down the left sideline for an 80-yard touchdown pass that gave Webster Groves a dramatic 34-29 come-from-behind victory and sent fans rushing onto the grass at Moss Field.

Yikes!   That was one crazy ending.   I mean since when do high school guys nail 48 yard game winners?   Not to mention the fact that QB has pretty good fucking arm too.   Almost seemed like a college game to me.  Either way great emotion.  Great ending.  Great everything.  But it still doesn’t hold a candle to the most famous crazy ending game in the history of football.    I’m sure most people have seen this a million times by now but just in case you haven’t here it is….
