Do People Want To Go To Tonight’s Sox Game?
I have question for people. If somebody offered you tickets to tonight’s game would you take em? I wouldn’t. Now granted I have my paper route tonight, but even if I didn’t I still wouldn’t want the tickets. I’d rather sit my ass on my couch, eat a ton of food and watch the game on TV. Does that mean I’m getting old or am just a pussy? Listen it would be one thing if it was 75 and sunny but it’s gonna be 45 and rainy. No thanks. This isn’t football where bad weather comes with the territory. I only go to Fenway in nice weather. That’s how baseball is meant to be watched. In fact playoffs notwithstanding I’d rather go to a Sox vs. Royals game when it’s 75 and sunny rather than a Yankees game in crap weather. I’m curious whether I’m the only one that feels like this?

I went to a Sox – Yankees game where there was a 2 hour rain delay last year… bored and already wasted we decided to wait it out and ended up getting first row behind the sox dugout for the entire game… Unreal experience… so yes I would go

Exactamundo. I go to 3-4 games every year and will never pay to go, ever. I don’t care if it’s the spankees or the padres only if it is free. Just taking a beating for parking, $8 beers, and strip club after game is insane. Paying to watch those idiots is foolish. They are my team but baseball is seriously broken. Those stiffs are ridiculously overpaid, lazy as shit, and don’t give a shit about fans. Unfortunately, enough pinheads pay for tickets every game/every year so it won’t be changeing.

Wow, taking things for granted much? Being from North Dakota the only baseball I can see within in a 5 hours drive is the Twins in the Metrodome. I’d trade going to a game at 45, rainy, and outside for being inside any day. Although I’m sure being in the dome helped everyone in there hear Beckett yell “GOD DAMNIT” which got some fireworks rolling.

i’d take the royals now…last year i had tickets to a royals game…was kinda pissed but it was a nice day and i got pretty drunk…and oh ya…Lester threw a no-hitter, well worth it!
