WBZTV – New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sat courtside at the TD Garden Tuesday night for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and the Lakers. Who was that sitting next to him? Former NBA player Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, who is also Kobe Bryant’s father. After the game, Brady walked out onto the court for a short chat with Kobe before Bryant headed off to the locker room. No word on what they talked about, but Bryant was laughing as he walked away.
Let me preface this by saying I wish this didn’t bother me. Like I know Brady wearing a Yankees hat or playing grab ass with Kobe Bryant shouldn’t upset me. I know it doesn’t effect what he does on the field, blah, blah, blah. But having said that this shit flat out enrages me and almost makes me hate Brady. Hey bro we just lost a major fucking game to our arch rival. How about not partying at center court with Kobe and chuckling like little school girls? Listen I don’t fucking care if he wants the Lakers to win. I don’t care if he sat with Kobe’s dad at the game. I don’t care if he got gay with Kobe beforehand. Just have some fucking respect for the city that I thought you were part of. I mean is it really too much to ask for to have Brady at least pretend like he cares about Boston fans 1/100th as much as we care about him. Because to me this is just a slap in the face. Seriously he’s the only professional athlete who shows up to these games and you honestly don’t know who he is rooting for. It’s pathetic.
