Wait is this real life?  Is Shank really saying that it’s unfair for Gordon Edes to write an article using unnamed sources?    Umm hasn’t Shank done that in almost every single article he’s written since the beginning of the time?    Isn’t that the whole controversy with the Red Sox?  Who is the rat who kept leaking shit to the press?  And then Shank just turns around and says using anonymous sources is bush league?  Seriously what planet am I on?   The only conclusion I can draw from this is Shank thinks he’s the only one in the world who can use anonymous quotes.   Everybody else needs to have accountability except him.   As preposterous as that sounds that’s the only way to take it right?
