Forget Manny….When Will Lebron Get Busted For Roids?
I love how everybody is asking me what my reaction to the Manny thing is. Like I should be shocked or something. My answer is always the same. I fucking love it. It’s hilarious, but I’m not the least bit surprised. I mean obviously he used steroids. Everybody who put up huge mind blowing numbers during this era used steroids. Manny, Arod, Pujols, Papi, everybody. Yeah I said Papi. Obviously he used too. The guy’s freaking trainer was like a steroid kingpin. And people can spare me the whole it’s dangerous to assume guys used steroids who haven’t been proven guilty yet. No it’s not. Everybody fucking used with the exception of maybe Nomar who has too much respect for the game. But that’s neither here nor there. I don’t even care about baseball guys getting busted anymore. My question is why does the NBA and specifically Lebron James get a free pass? This makes no sense to me. I mean the guy is fucking huge. I’m talking abnormally gigantic. And the one thing this entire steroid fiasco has taught us is that if a guy is a million times better than everybody else and looks totally different then he’s probably cheating. Lebron fits that bill to a tee. It would be one thing if he slowly developed over the years but ever since I’ve seen him he’s been gigantic. Go back and watch the McDonalds All American games from the past 20 years. There is nobody who ever looked like Lebron did in High School. So I’m sure just like with Arod he was juicing since middle school. Because you don’t get a man’s body at 15 unless you’re cheating. But Lebron is good for ratings and good for the NBA so David Stern turns a blind eye to just like what MLB did during the HR chase. Listen, I don’t blame them, but mark my words. Lebron James uses steroids. It’s just common sense.

Wow, very bold statement. I’m not gonna argue with you, but that’s a mighty big tamale you’ve left hanging out there.
baseball is not unique it just happens to be under the microscope right now. Test all these guys with using the olympics standard. The guys that are clean will be vindicated and the users will be exposed. I can’t wait for the day when we don’r hear about a steriod user.
I’ll keep saying it … WHO CARES!!
These guys make so much money that it is stupid for them NOT to use steroids and PEDs. I am insulted if you are a clean player. They are the stupid ones, not the users.
wow, great point. how about Dwight Howard?
don’t forget about Mikki Moore, definitely on the juice.
The NBA getting a free pass??
What about the NFL?
not that i care
might as well throw rondo under the bus too
NHL?
NationalCupStacking
BUBBLE BLOWING
EVERYONE’S Getting a little help. I heard that Kobeyashi uses marijuana as a PED and that is really why he did so well.
PS not really
The NBA is basically the WWE anyway, so steroids are a natural progression.

Yeah exactly. It’s completely natural for a guy whose 6′8″, 350 pounds to run a 4.5 40.
blackbox,
One day, we can only hope, btu by then, there will be gene modification so its a one time deal. Either that or a Chinese democracy will happen first. bets?
Lebron on the sauce, huh? You certainly could make an argument on that, but steroid use during post adolescence has been known to stunt growth and cause a laundry-list of other physical problems.
If he was using, it stands to reason he’d been consuming large quantities to get the effects to be as drastic as you suggest.
I wouldn’t be shocked to here he used at some point, but I HIGHLY doubt he’s a pharmacy. Juice doesn’t make a 5′11″ guy 6′-9″.
James is a freak. If he can manage to maintain his level of play from the last 3-4 years for another 8-10 years and win a couple titles along the way, he should be included in an argument for best to ever lace ‘em up.
I’m not disputing the argument but wouldn’t he have been tested olympic style when he was in the olympics??
And that reverse dunk while three guys were in the paint was along the same lines of “That should never happen with a left handed hitter” when Jacoby stole home

I do not believe the 2009 NBA MVP and Finals MVP and Champion uses steroids.
As long as Tiger isn’t dirty, could give 2 fucks
NFL has the toughest drug testing policy of the 4 major sports in the US. They had a HUGE problem in the late 70s and 80s but Rozelle stepped up with a tough policy and Tagliabue refined it.
The BALCOs of the world and their clients wil always be pushing the envelope so its up to the leagues to be proactive and drop the appropriate coin to research testing to combat the latest and greatest PEDs that are out there.
Dude, Tyron Lue is has definantly on the growth! what the fuck, that guy is the perfect specimen for the NBA. Freak of nature

Steroids stunts growth that early but HGH wouldn’t …and that started getting big right around the time he was in JH or High school
Nomar took steroids. FACT.
casey,
Yeah I don’t think Rondo does either.

Like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything in terms of PEDs. I really think its more a function of being physically blessed more than a function of synthetic means of development.
While we are on the subject, lets not leave Tiger Woods out. Basically if you have dominated your sport at all in the past 15 years then you were/are on the juice.
Serena Williams and Tiger Woods
Yoursistersass,
You do realize they give steroids and HGH to children that have trouble growing normally in Europe and HGH to kids in the US, right?
Don’t believe everything they tell you in the Public Service Announcement ads.
Entirely possible – I’ve thought the same thing about Dwight Howard (and I say this as one of the only Cleveland fans in Boston). I also think that there has to be a bigger problem in the NFL than any other sport – I have no idea why the MLB of all sports has had focus. There’s not even contact in MLB like there is in hockey, football and even the NBA, where the extra size and strength can be truly advantageous.
I’m sorry, I missed where were skipped from PEDs in sports, to using medicine as intended to help people with real issues.
But thanks for adding nothing to the discussion on the table and pointing out the painfully obvious, Makita.
and i’m gonna go with….this blog is gonna be pres’ excuse when the cavs crush the celts next series. i take that back; ONE of his excuses.
Nobody is clean today compared to years past …Mantle ..Ruth their diet consisted of cigarrettes..whiskey…and hookers. Today athletes are sucking down protein shakes and creatine. Everyone’s gotta take a step back and ask what would Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, the Babe, Ted Williams, any great player look like if they had the weight training and conditioning or the nutrion and doctors that are around today. Records are meant to be broken and I personally like the big hits….further home runs…harder dunks…its all part of the game progressing and ya there are guys like Bonds that use roids and crap and they should be banned but nobody is clean with all the supplements and improvements in athletics. In golf …nobody hit the drives Tiger or Phil hit becuase they didn’t have the equipment or training they do now. Should Tiger get banned for using a graphite shaft on his driver or an extra distance ball just because Arnold Palmer used actual woods.
Dude EP what the fuck are you rambeling about now? Turning into another cunt like Serena err Selena. WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THE JUICE?
Yoursistersass, I think I should’ve addressed that to Lugo is a Vag. Once again, I have failed in epic proporations.
Ha ha… No worries
dwight howard
I dont see how that pertains to me either though…I dont think Lebron “was a kid in europe or the US that had trouble growing”….and they don’t give anabolic steroids to kids…they give them medicines that qualify as steroids but aren’t anabolic and what is generally referenced in sports. Asthma patients intake a steroid through their inhaler…but its not an anabolic steroid
wow pres… im impressed with all these revelations e.i. papi and pujols did roids.
what’s next? Are you gonna tell us alot of jews live in swampscott or you can buy crack in roxbury?
Athletes are bigger, stronger, faster now for obvious reasons. It just sort of sucks that a guy like Mark McGwire or Barry Bonds who were pharmacies for as much as a third of their playing careers are the ones that moved Aaron and Maris down the list.
You would see the public’s general attitude be totally different if it were say, Ken Griffey Jr that broke the HR record. Although, I’m beginning to wonder if he was enhances also.

He’s the most obvious of all.
Wow, Tiger on the juice? He’s not that stupid. Phil Mickelson was outdriving him by 25 yards at the masters. Get real, retards.
i dont even like Lebron and this post is annoying. Kobe is better than everybody in the league including or besides Lebron depending on opinion and he isn’t on the sauce. stop trying to be controversial. it doesn’t suit you.
with all the baseball guys going down like they are, it’s amazing to me that a guy like ken griffey jr doesn’t get more press than he does. he’s been putting up numbers since he was 19 and was only slowed due to injuries after playing 10 years on astroturf in seattle. i think he is the only guy left that would shock me to learn that he was on the sauce. for what it’s worth, i know a guy that was in spring training with the reds when griff was there (early 2000s), and he said that griffey could barely get 185 up on the bench press, so i’m holding on to that.
Tiger Woods is a definate roid addict. My guess is something mild, maybe a Winstrol & HGH cocktail around the calendar.
Take the top 50 Major League Baseball Players for the last 10 years. At least 45 of them juiced. 30 of those people would not be in the top 50 if they did not. I think they need to pick a year, as bad as it is for those who didn’t juice, and throw out the records. 1990 maybe? It’s that ridiculous. Is there even testing in the NBA? A whole bunch of them look like they are taking steroids.
My thoughts exactly Beantown. It’s obvious, EP, that nobody else in the NBA is taking roids, cause NOBODY else in the NBA is a freak of nature. Not Shaq, Howard, KG, or damn near anyone else you can name who isn’t a fucking point guard. This is a fucking pointless post. All you wanna do is pre-emptivley discredit Lebron because he is going to smash the shit out of Boston in the next series, assuming they even make it that far.
Amen, Pres, Amen…..
You really don’t think Nomar took steroids??? The guy hasn’t played a full season in god knows when. Of course he took roids, at one point he almost bats 400 for the first time since teddy ballgame then at another point he can’t even get signed to a team. ROIDS
Earth to sports fans!!!! Earth to sports fans!!!!!
95% of them have taken something . . .
You’re dumb if you think Nomar was clean during his career. Too much respect for the game? Please. Morally, the guy wasn’t an ounce ‘better’ than any other ego who plays baseball. He is so self-obsessed it’s comical to think he wouldn’t go the extra mile to better himself.
As far as the others, i’m willing to believe Ortiz juiced, as painful as that is to say. He’s flat out awful now. As far as Pujols goes, it’s possible he’s juicing right now, but until we see some random tendon tears or his stats completely falling off a cliff some random year he decides to play clean, then i’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. .. for now
They ought to either just legalize them or institute a Zero-tolerance rule in every sport instead of being a bunch of hypocrites. The Owners want the crazy production and the off the charts performances to make $$. Kids all over the place have been taking them for decades and they will continue to as long as they see these billionaires getting a slap on the wrist. (Wow, how’s Manny going to survive on a lousy $17 Million this year?) Let’s face it. if it weren’t for the effect it has on kids, who would give a shit. The policies now are just sending them complete mixed messages. So what about the records. Have two sets of records if necessary. The cat’s already out of the bag on that issue.
This is such a ridiculous accusation. the guy is 6′8” he’s just got the natural size, and obviously any serious athlete works out in high school. If he played for the celtics this article wouldn’t be written. OK so A-Rod and Lebron got bigger during high school, it’s called being a freakin teenager. When A-Rod was drafted his biggest criticism is that he couldn’t bench like 120, so how was he using in HS? Yeah he definitely used in middle school, idiot. You are also high if you think Nomar didn’t use. His body broke down after he left Boston, probably because he stopped using.
Really? Lebron and Dwight? Two guys who played in the Olympics. The same Olympics that test for positively anything to catch people for trying to cheat? I see we are already trying to make excuses for which ever team knocks the Craptics out of the playoffs…pathetic
WHAT?! NOMAR WAS NOT ON ROIDS?? “too much respect for the game” ?? is this a joke? he is the prototypical steroid user, he had a few great years, then began tearing muscles and tendons in his body that nobody ever heard of before. look at this picture and honestly try to explain to me why i should think that anything you ever say again is credible
