PAHRUMP, NV — Nye County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a teacher’s aide for unlawful sexual conduct between school employee and pupil, open and gross lewdness, and unlawful use of a minor as a subject of sexual portrayal. Police say 31-year-old Amanda McGough admitted to having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student. Police say McGough also exchanged explicit photos with the student over email. McGough was an aide and substitute teacher at Pahrump Valley High School and Rosemary Clark Middle School. The incidents did not happen on school property.

Wait.  So we finally find something that’s against the law in Nevada and it’s… this?  You can gamble, whore, get drunk in public, fix boxing matches and pay NBA referees to throw games.  But one scrawny 31 year old teacher bangs a 16 year old kid and she goes to jail for it.  This isn’t going to help tourism any. I mean, so much for “What happens in Pahrump stays in Pahrump.”

The Grades:
Looks: I think with a little work Amanda could grade out OK.  But I can’t get the mental picture of Stork out of my head so Grade: C.
Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: Amanda McGough exchanges nudie emails with an underage student and gets the lesser included charge of “use of a minor as a subject of sexual portrayal.”  A man does it and he gets a seat at a kitchen counter courtesy of Chris Hansen and his life in ruins.  The Double Standard has never been put to better use.  Grade: B.
Intangibles: “Hey, I didn’t get a “Pahrump” out of that guy.” “Give the Governor “Pahrump.” “Pahrump!” “You watch your ass.” Blazing Saddles references always get a Grade: A.
