Indiana – A cheerleading coach was arrested after she allegedly performed oral sex on a 17-year-old student in her car. Megan Crafton, 22, handed herself on June 15 after the teenage boy told police about the liaison which happened in the parking lot of a grocery store in January. Crafton, who works at Shelbyville High School in Indianapolis, faces a felony charge of child seduction… According to Fox 59, Crafton is engaged. The 22-year-old is not a teacher and did not coach the student but was in a position of authority. Police were asked to investigate by the school after rumors have swirled around their employee and senior student since January. According to the affidavit, Crafton admitted she had performed sex acts on the teenager.

What did De Niro keep telling C in “A Bronx Tale”?  “The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.”  Megan has all the measurables.  She’s attractive enough.  She’s immoral enough to cheat on her fiance.  Horny enough to blow a student in the parking lot at Piggly Wiggly (or whereever).  But for whatever reason she didn’t have the fire in the belly to make herself one of the greats.  I mean, she’s 22.  The kid is 17.  They’re practically peers.  And she’s not even a teacher.  He might as well have gotten head from the chick who coaches 3rd for the softball team.  If Megs had waited, become a teacher, gotten older while keeping her looks then cheated on her husband with a student, she really could’ve been something.  Now we’ll never know.  The good news for her is apparently the kid is a basketball player.  So she’s proven she’s got a nice future at ESPN.

The Grades:
Looks: Not the most flattering pictures I’m sure.  I think she’s better than we see here.  And 22 year olds should be better than the usual 30/40-somethings we get here so I’m going with Grade: B.
Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: Again, a grocery store BJ is like the baseline for what we should expect.  No heart.  No effort.  Just coasting by on her god-given athletic ability.  Grade: D.
Intangibles: I assume the school’s team name is the Shelbyville Shelbyvillians?  Grade: A.
Overall: C+.  Such a waste of potential.
