Has Anybody Ever Been More Excited About A Late Hit Call Than Pat Fitzgerald?
All things considered this maybe the most bizarre celebration I’ve ever seen in my life. Don’t get me wrong it was a big call. Northwestern was about to face a 3rd and long when this play occurred midway through the 4th quarter. But still cmon. I mean this type of celebration should be reserved for winning the National Championship not being the recipient of a personal foul call. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen any coach even clap for a late hit before. And it’s not like he celebrated like this throughout the game either. This was it. It was just when the ref threw the flag here he went bananas. Legit bananas. And he’s the only one showing any emotion in the entire stadium. Strange yet hilarious.
PS – Maybe the funniest part of the whole thing is that he actually thought Northwestern had a chance to come into the Big House and win.

EP – hahahahahahaha. Coming in to call Michigan elite? Since last year, they were ranked up there with the Minnesotas and Indiana’s of the Big Ten. They suck this year. The year they were ranked number 2 in the country, they got beat by Division 2 team. Ride the wave.

The press and polls love the Golden Globes, Tide, gonna be tough for Bama to jump without something big and unexpected happening. If they’d lost to LSU instead of A&M, stronger argument (I still believe Bama is best team in the nation, just talking pollsters and tv networks tired of the world’s greatest conference running the table). Stanford could definitely take out the Ducks, they give up points. K-State doesn’t belong but could option their way into what would be a brutally boring BCS title game. Bama-ND would be a gift for everyone.

The year Michigan was beat by a Division II team, they went on to beat the Tim Tebow led Gators the same year he shredded the SEC defenses with his Heisman Trophy winning gaudy ass numbers, so yeah… I’d say we got over that. Pres is right, Pat looked like he was going to have to change his pants and everyone at the bar I was at burst out laughing at how stupid he looked. Not nearly as funny as seeing ‘Bama from the most overrated conference in the history of organized sports getting beat by a mid-level Big 12 team. Now that was some funny ass shit.
