I Owe Fairfield An Apology
So on Friday I got inundated with emails from Fairfield students complaining that their school blocked ticketmaster so they couldn’t buy tickets to Fuckin Foam at Bridgeport on April 5th. Naturally I reacted the only way I know how. I called Fairfield a bunch on Nazis. Well this morning I traded emails from a computer guy at Fairfield and he was asking what happened because they didn’t block it. Turns out ticketmaster blocked it because of a glich in their system with shared networks. Long story short I owe Fairfield an apology. I’m not sure whether calling them Nazi’s constitutes hate speech or not, but it doesn’t even matter. This is as big a victory as VJ Day. It’s not only a victory for the Stool. It’s not only a victory for Fairfield. It’s a victory for America! I guess what I’m trying to say is, if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change! Now let’s all buy tickets and get foamed the fuck out.

A legitimate businessman would’ve tried to resolve the issue between Ticketmaster and Fairfield ASAP on Friday to try to provide the best service to his clients. Pres doesn’t really give a shit about the college kids he’s robbing blind so he just writes a blog blaming the school and comparing it to Nazi Germany, then waits until Monday to get any clarification about the issue. And you wonder why schools don’t want to do business with you?

I like to think I played some small role in bringing Fairfield back from the brink of genocide to within the family of civilized universities. We all understand the need to save face, and if you can’t blame ticketmaster, well who can you blame in this crazy world? Still, a “viva la stool” day on campus would be a fine way for the good folks at Fairfield to demonstrate they don’t hate Jews. You guys are out of your minds if you think that substantial revenue is gained from visiting and commenting on this site. Internet advertising is CHEAP because everyone knows it’s very ineffective. Why do you think the NY Times now charges for articles? Moreover, if “hate speech” was a crime in the United States, Portnoy would have a far better beef against KOBarstool for maliciously calling him a rapist than Fairfield University has against a satirical blog that made a joke about the perceived censorship and/or denial of access reported by Fairfield’s own student. I guess the real point of all the asshole commenters to this blog is that they would prefer that Barstool censor itself and avoid making jokes that offend their fucking sensibilities. They should consider not visiting the site if their feelings are so fucking hurt.
