I’d Like To Stab Steve Young In the Throat
This reaction by Steve Young to the Pats drafting Darius Butler pretty much sums up why if I had one bullet to use on anybody in the world I’d put it right in Steve Young’s forehead. The guy is just such an arrogant asshole. I mean what was up with that laugh when he heard that Bill Belichick said Butler was the most athletic corner he has ever worked out? Is that funny? Because where I come from when the best coach in the history of football makes a statement like that I feel like you should probably take it seriously. Instead Steve Young acted like he’d never even heard of Bill Belichick before and that we were the Oakland Raiders or something. Umm wake up dude. Belichick has about a bazillion times more credibility than anything you’ve ever said in your entire miserable life so do me a favor and cut the shit with the snide laugh. You’re only making an asshole out of yourself. Yeah you’re right Steve Darius Butler isn’t athletic at all…
maybe just slice his achilles tendon. he’ll quit the game.
Yeah, cause Steve Young hasn’t accomplished much in the world of football – Once Brady/Moss surpass the Young/Rice i’ll start listening.
It is because BB said he would rather face Steve Young than Joe Montana when he was DC of the Giants.
I could see how Young would hold a grudge for 20 years over that, I mean his 1 SB compares to Montana’s 4.
2 words…NFL Network
I did not even turn on the World Wide Leader in Suck, because of the A-holes they have on their draft coverage.
Well which is it – stabbed in the throat or bullet to the forehead? I prefer stabbed in the throat. I like gurgling noises.
Yeah, you’re right, Steve Young is worse than, say, Hitler for his remark about “phenom” Darius Butler. He definitely deserves a gunshot to the head. You sound only slightly insane.
…………..mormon
looked like he was on the cusp of an epic “pass out” video…hey I would be bored doing the draft too.
did I miss something or is Butler from someplace other than UConn? why is anyone high on this guy? that’s like getting excited about an NBA team drafting a kid from the curry college basketball team.

hey, anything out of his mouth has to be better/smarter than the “get the monkey off my back” act he did at the Super Bowl
Steve Young is a douche.
GuysThatWearFlipFlopsWithJeansAreGay….does your name imply that guysthatwearuggswithjeansarenotgay?
I love women, and I love wearing flip flops especially with jeans. Are you the kind of guy that wears sneakers even when its 90 degrees out?
Best coach in the history of the NFL? That’s quite a stretch…..
He’s up there though…..A Steve Young is a Knob!
Hey Prickly…
does that mean smaller/lesser programs can’t have NFL players?….analogy to Curry shows your lack of knowledge—Marshall (Troy Brown, Randy Moss), Miami of Ohio (Ben Rothlesberger), and Mississippi State (Jerry Rice) to name a few seem to have produced some decent “off-the radar” talent—Not saying Butler will even come close to those careers, but UConn (like it or not) is a BCS school….
The whole ESPN crew is idiotic every year. When is Mel Kiper right about any team’s draft? What exactly is his expertise? “Fluid hips,” “length,” “ball skills” — hey Mel, it’s the draft not Boogie Nights. Steve Young and company blather on about people they’ve never watched work out and then in January are like “Wow, the Patriots are really, really good. This Matt Cassell guy can play” etc. etc. But they never learn, and they will never learn. If they could, other teams would do it, and other teams would be as consistently good as the Patriots. The only team that drafts nearly as smart is Pittsburgh, with expected results.
Hey Coach,
That’s not my argument, guy. It’s specific to UConn. I’ll eat my hat if a UConn football player eventually makes a real contribution to the NFL. And don’t give me Orlovsky — he’s a joke.
Steve Young is a supreme grade A jerkoff….

You ARE clueless…What were there like 5 UConn players taken fairly early in this draft, including Brown at 27 overall? Your comment makes no sense.
Give me one example of a UConn grad playing good football in the NFL. I would think NFL teams would want to see a bit of a track record from a school before drafting guys from a glorified I-AA football team. Oh wait, I forgot — Butler can dunk a basketball so we know he MUST be good.
I don’t mind the idea of taking a risk with a guy from a smaller school, but the way everyone is praising this Butler guy is crazy. Let’s chill out a bit about this year’s Pats draft until they show something on the field. No real locks out of their picks.
really??? uh just casue he can dunk makes him athletic.. so shaq is athletic?? ha
I would take Shaq at cornerback.
Hey Tapout,
You are a douche. Try to focus here…I didn’t say that flip flops are gay. However, I think you are gay if you wear jeans with flip flops. When It’s 90 degrees out, I don’t wear jeans. I wear shorts. When I wear shorts, I wear flip flops. Here is your post…

“I love women, and I love wearing flip flops especially with jeans” = FAG
lol its the fact he can dunk at 5’10” or whatever he is you clowns, and vertical leap is important/what BB loves in cornerbacks (see ty law, asante samuel, ellis hobbs, etc.) and whats wrong with being excited for the guys we drafted? obviously you cant tell if they will turn out as good players for another at least 5 months, but you can speculate
GuysThatWearFlipFlopsWithJeansAreGay
your name isnt funny
A) Mush, you’re a delusional homer if you honestly think Bill Billacheat is the greatest coach in the history of the game. Ever heard of Bill Walsh? Steve Young has. He was traded for, and played for, the greatest coach in the history of the NFL.
B) Most surfers where flip-flops with jeans. And most surfers nail hotter pieces of female ass than the clown with the stupid handle can beat off to.
Hey StoolFool,
Not meant to be funny but truthful. Now shut the fuck up and come up from you mom’s basement and grab the tunafish sandwich that she made for you with the crust cut off, then go back down to wack off in your flip flops.
Hey Piratesalsa,
News flash… You’re not cool and if you think surfers are the shit, you need to re-evalute your life.
lets play the “make up an insult that has no credibility” game!
you have 2 dads you fag
UConn is a small school?
Stool,
If I noticed this on one of your previous posts, I would have commented earlier…
You used “lol”. You are fag. PERIOD !
you just said it too!
FAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Young.
All BB has ever shown me, is that he can’t even cheat well.
If he were half the coach you make him out to be , he’d have won a few games in cleveland
Let’s see, considering that the team was being moved in his final season and that anyone who “knows” football and sports (which excludes most if not all of us), that the 5-11 was somewhat understandable….
so after taking over for a 3-13 team, he went 7-9 twice and then 11-5 and still their last playoff win….not great, but better than you give credit for, as well as foundation of Rvens team that would have good late 90′s-early 2000′s run…
First things first, Bill Belichick is not the greatest coach in the history of football! There is only one man that fits that description and his name is Bill Walsh. Now if you want to put Bill Belichick in the top 15 of all time, then we can talk, but to even consider him in a top 5 of all time for coaches is up for dispute and laughable. I think if Chris Berman had said to Steve Young, “Bill Belichick is the greatest coach in the history of the NFL”, the smirk Steve would have given him would have been ear to ear! Not to mention the roar of laughter coming from the rest of the people in the room.
Now, as for saying Steve should be shot for dismissing Bill Belichick’s CB statement of Butler, yeah because Steve Young must be an idiot since all he ever did was become a SB winning first ballot Hall of Fame QB. Not that he would know anything about a CB because what would a QB know about the CB position anyway! Oh that’s right, maybe because every time he threw the ball during is long Hall of Fame career, it was to someone that was more then likely being guarded by a CB, like Deion Sanders the greatest CB of all time!
Guysthatweaeraserasdfasfdadsfisgay….you need to relax. You’re way too uptight for flip flops anyway. I’m guessing you wear your flip flops with your Jorts. Or do you wear your work boots in the summer with shorts.
I was simply trying to figure out whether you thought flip flops were gay. You so eloquently let me know that you love flip flops, minus jeans. Cause a pair of jeans will gay up any pair of flip flops.
You probably live nowhere near the beach, and would burn terribly if you did.
this dude has had so many concussions he has know clue what is going on
just to settle a few arguments – Uconn is in the big east, therefore a reputable school to produce pro athletes, surfers are not the shit, no matter how hot the ass is they get and finally the name jeanswithflipflops are gay is not funny
anyone have post game video from this years Super Bowl? Young embarrassed himself to the point where Berman and Jackson where squirming.
He’s a child.
you guys are supreme whiners. You think Belichik may have been doing some embellishing (for your right coasters, BB has been known to spin some yarns when discussing football) when speaking about Superman Butler? You think Steve Young was getting a little chuckle because he happened to play against a guy by the name of, umm, uhh, oh it’s right on the tip of my tongue, oh that’s right, Deion Sanders. If Butler really was the “best” athlete, he would have been taken in the first round, but he wasn’t. Oh, by the way, was Steve Young also a douchebag when he mentioned that the New England Patriots are, far and away, the best organization in the NFL? You clowns are way too sensitive about anyone saying anything about your beloved teams. By the way, when was the last time the Pats won a Super Bowl?
