accusing athletes of using performance enhancing drugs has become an american pastime. f*ck any athlete in the states who performs even slightly above averages is accused of using some ellicit substance to gain an edge over the competition. if anything these doping accusations against the fugly ass chinese chick unequivically demonstrates americas unprejudiced competitive hatred for our chinese overlords
Just so I have this straight… the entire rest of the world believes Lance Armstrong has cheated despite over 500 tests to the contrary and he is continuously crucified in the media over even the suggestion that he might have… BUT, the Chinese have their mumus in a bunch because one of their swimmers who had never won a single meet in the past shows up to the Olympics and not only shatters a world record, but swims some of her splits on pace with the men and… help me with this… AMERICA is a bunch of whiners who should just celebrate this woman’s achievement and not question anything… do I have that right rest of the world? I only ask because to my ugly American eyes this seems… oh what is the word I’m looking for… it’s not hypocritical… no wait… that’s what it is… it’s hypocritical… must be the cynic in me, but I find it amazing that everyone is so willing to believe a bike rider from Texas with no medical degree has found away to trick the brightest doctors in Europe while no one would dream that 1.3 billion mathematicians could pool their resources and come up with a way of their own.
