Is The Throat Slash The Appropriate Gesture After Catching Two Foul Balls?
I got to be honest. This didn’t feel right to me. Don’t get me wrong catching two foul balls at a game is pretty amazing and certainly worthy of celebration, but I’m just not sure a throat slash is the right move here. I think you got to go Stanky Leg instead don’t you? That seems much more appropriate. Unless of course you’re Doug Flutie in which case the the throat slash is not only acceptable, but is perfect.
