My best friend attended the University of Pittsburgh, and I can attest that there are hot girls all over the place. It’s just that 98% of them leave after they graduate, as opposed to attending Steelers games. There are actually quite a few colleges in the city, so it has that going for it…
Also, it has a pretty solid nightlife surprisingly. I went to a bar there (apparently now since closed due to repeated violence, hahaha) that was literally like the size of a football field. It was a Saturday night and yet they had a $1 mixed drinks special until midnight ($0.50 on Fridays!) and I got almost black-out drunk. There were thousands of people dancing their asses off and hot girls everywhere. Deals like that are actually common in many of the bars there. Much more affordable to get fucking shitfaced! I’m too used to spending 70 bucks instead of 7… let’s just say I was thrown out of the place…
Don’t want to sound like a Pitt defender here or anything though. I fucking HATE the Steelers, and most of their fans are trash! They are lucky they avoided the Pats on their recent SB victories, and the Welker hit in ’08 was flat out dirty. Also, the entire middle of Pennsylvania fucking sucks, and is one of the most boring drives ever. Downtown is really pretty but also very sterile. Not too many cities in the states remotely compare to Boston in that regard. Also, lots of areas outside downtown and the universities were totally ghetto.
Final verdict: good college town, weather sucks but lots of cheap eats/bars and hot college chicks. After that, GET THE FUCK OUT. And that’s my 25 cents for the night.

No way. The Pats were not at risk for losing the #1 seed. They were 1.5 games ahead of the Steelers with the tie-breaker.
Pats fans should be rooting hard for the Steelers to win that #2 seed. I’d much rather see the Steelers as the #2 than the Ravens. The Ravens are much more of a threat. There are only 2 AFC teams that even have a chance of winning in Foxboro: the Ravens and the Chargers. So hopefully, the Chargers don’t make the playoffs and the Ravens get the #5 or #6 seed and get knocked off.
