Love Kenny Perry…the guy lobbied to be on the Ryder Cup team repping his country in his home state…then basically just kicked ass in the event.

If by “lobbied to be on the Ryder Cup team” you mean skipped all the major championships and played watered down events to rack up Fed Ex Cup points, guaranteeing himself a spot on the team, then yeah (example: He skipped the British Open to play in Milwaukee last year).
