I grew up in the ’90s when the Pats were mostly bad or average, with a few good years. And they had fans then (granted, I can’t speak for the ’70s or ’80s). The LA Rams moved because the owner was a gold-digging whore who inherited the team and moved them because she wanted to. All my friends from the LA area were Rams fans who still hate her.
The Pats have an owner who cares. When Brady retires they might take a step back (that usually happens when your 1st ballot HOF QB retires) but they will by no means be mediocre.

Hmm, Pats made it to a Super Bowl in the 80′s, a Super Bowl in the 90′s and had some quality teams in mid late 70′s with Grogan. One that would’ve gone to SB if not screwed v Raiders. Nothing will compare to the Belichick/Brady era but Pats will be fine with Kraft family running them.
