It’s Starting To Feel Alot Like 1912 Around Here

Are you thinking what I’m thinking?  Yup it’s starting to feel a lot like 1912 around here.   That’s of course the last time the Sox started a season by demolishing the Yankees six straight times.   That year they won 14 straight against the Bombers and naturally went on to win the World Series.   I guess it’s just more of the same old same old.   Yawn.

You really are a homer, you spend all day downplaying the upcoming series because you genuinely thought the Sox would lose and wanted to play the “it don’t matter” card but now that they are winning you’re going to blog about it and make a show of how into Baseball you are. Do me a fucking favor and go suck off your Adam lambert replica dildo.

I don’t think anyone around here really gets too worked up about games this early. Having said that it’s nice to see Ortiz take one to deep center like that.

I’m surprised you even watched the game- too much of a bitch to want to go to a rainy sox/yanks game…

As a Yankees fan I am pretty worked up by the continued ass beating they are taking at the hands of your boys so far this season lol.

Cool, you saw a little factoid at the bottom of the screen on NESN when you flipped over during a quick commercial break from This Week In American Idol on the Fox Reality Channel. Leave the sports talk to Thornton please.

I just want to know how many people agree with me that after the Zen master wins his tenth title he should be regarded as the greatest nba coach of all time

» Sully said: { Jun 9, 2009 - 10:06:08 }

It’ll probably be Auerbach until Jackson or someone else wins 8 in a row.

For the zen master’s case, it helps when you get lucky and coach the best player of all time in his prime.

to me it’s starting to feel like 1980, 82, 85, 87, 88, 2000, 01, 02, around here

» ukcatsgreat said: { Jun 9, 2009 - 10:06:15 }

i see what your tryin to say sully but i thought auerbach had bill russel for those titles and the mvp trophy is named after that guy so didn’t he have the greatest winner on his team

i agree with sully. look at the talent of the league when phil jackson won his titles, the only other contenders were the rockets with an old hakeem, and the jazz, while the lakers had to deal with chris webber, maybe the biggest big game loser of all time (along with another of those players phil had to deal with, patrick ewing) , and, um, the pacers? the sixers? Bill Russell played against and beat some of the best players in history, namely, Wilt Chamberlin, jerry west, all time greats. besides karl malone and stockton, there was nobody who could come close to the ability that jordan had or that kobe and shaq had.

Im bummed though….

We just had the horrible accident with that new ocean liner, the Titanic. Who saw that one coming?
Teddy Roosevelt didnt get the Republican nomination- he would’ve fixed things Taft messed up.
The Navajo Rag isnt taking of like we thought it would.
But hey, the Sox are on fire in that new stadium of theirs!

FuckBoston, care to compare staffs?

» fitz said: { Jun 10, 2009 - 12:06:02 }

lol at bitter, sad, Yankees fan. Better luck next year. What free agents will you sign next year that won’t help you win shit……hm

» Soog said: { Jun 10, 2009 - 01:06:59 }

As a complete homer Boston fan I see the Red/Phil argument this way:

Red benefited from very few other teams and that players couldn’t ber free agents. Phil has only taken over teams with the best players and never had to build a team.

It’s a push. Fuck Phil Jackson.

It find it very amusing that you Boston fans and especially you ElPres are getting so excited about beating the Yankees the first 6 games of the season. In case you didn’t realize, we are still tied for first place with you. There are still about 12 games left between the both of us. If anything, you should be scared of us because we haven’t even played close to good baseball against the Red Sox.

get a room.

So basically what you are saying is that the only road to a World Series Championship runs right through the Bronx. Sounds about right.

But who is better to stop a 0-6 run against the BoSox. WANG and his ERA of 15. Looking forward to tonight.

Burnett looks like a piece of trailer trash and it’s only a matter of time before he lands on the DL. The Sox have Smoltz and Bucholtz waiting in the wings too so let’s not get into whose staff is better. Yankee fans eat donkey dick.

Burnett looks like trailer trash?? Have you seen Youk!? He looks like every douche on Cops except he has a shirt on.
