And bdumps15, if you want to willfully misinterpret the point of the protests, be my guest, but the point of them was to bring attention to the kid gloves with which financial crimes are treated, the obscene amounts of money being made (see: skimmed) in the financial sector, and the disproportionate power wielded by those industries. Whether or not they were effective is obviously open to debate, but the reasons they were there should be obvious to all but the most ignorant.
