Nesn - Jacoby Ellsbury is one of the game’s most gifted athletes. For baseball fans unable to witness Ellsbury’s skills on a nightly basis, the 26-year-old left fielder put his freakish talents on display in a recent Nike shoot.  Ellsbury posted a 38.5-inch vertical leap, which was the exact same height that Gators quarterback Tim Tebow posted at last week’s NFL combine. That result would have placed him in a tie for fourth place among running backs as well.  Perhaps his most impressive feat was his 3.94 “5-10-5″ agility shuttle, also referred to as the 20-yard shuttle. This shuttle time would have topped the list at last weekend’s NFL combine, besting cornerback A.J. Jefferson’s top time of 4.00 seconds flat. Ellsbury also ran a 3.56 30-yard dash, and notched a 65-foot powerball throw.

Well what can you say about this?   I mean facts are facts.   Jacoby Ellsbury is the best athlete in the history of baseball and a sure fire Hall of Famer.  You can’t argue the Sparq test.   Because just like with the NFL combine this proves that Ellsbury can do everything except hit a baseball and actually play the game.    But that shit is secondary to agility drills.
