KHL Hockey Coach Goes Ham On Fans
Prohockeytalk - If you haven’t seen this already, here’s former NHL player Andrei Nazarov, now coaching Vityaz Chekhov, swinging sticks at Dinamo Minsk fans in Belarus on Sunday. Apparently Nazarov went nuts when fans started throwing plastic bottles onto the ice.
Yawn. I didn’t even raise an eyebrow watching this shit. This is what I expect to happen in Russia. Somebody throws a water bottle on the ice and the coach just turns around and starts mashing people with a hockey stick till the Soviet military intervenes. Par for the course in my book. More importantly my question is whether I should start selling Barstool Soviet winter hats?
I’ve always had an affinity for these things. Just screams “my winter is worse than your winter. I’m tougher than you are. I drink more vodka than you do. I’m a bad ass and you’re not. I must break you”….etc. That’s what those hats say to me. So maybe a Stool with a little hammer and sickle on the front? I’d buy one.

I missed the boat on the “Ham” thing. That must have started just after the “Hardo” thing. Someone please help. I need to keep pace with EP’s ghetto-like destruction of the English language. I thought Ham was either (1) a deli meat made from pigs or (2) a cute phrase meaning “Hingham, Mass.”
i’ve been staying off the comments due to the enormous amount of idiots, but i have to chime in here. el pres’ bruins bandwagon status has officially been cemented as he doesn’t seem to realize that nazarov was our goon like 10 years ago, for a couple seasons at least. couldn’t have missed him if you watched, he was literally the only guy on the team who could fight besides joe thornton, so he handle most of the fisticuffs.
best part of the video is learning that russians really do wear those furry hats like all the 80s action movies would lead me to believe…
