keep the articles coming jt. watching the game’s are tough, cuz i gotta pick between watching analytically like you do, or just watching while turning off my brain to enjoy it more. and half the time i’m on a shitty tv so can’t really see all the numbers/substitutions going on, etc.

and with the above commnets, i def agree bill only shows what he needs to, but even that doesn’t matter as much cuz we’re so versatile, that we can play any type of game we want any week. if we wanna slow it down against indy we can just run behind vollmer and mankins, creating 10 minute slow drives, etc.

Pats players don’t look ahead but Belicheck does. I beleive that theory that Belicheck only shows as much as he needs on these border line teams.

One theory about yesterday’s game is that the Pats would do the absolute minimum to win, using a vanilla game plan so that Indy doesn’t have too much to game plan for from the tape. Just a theory…..

After the game mankins and koppen were asked if they were ready for next week’s battle, and they 100% legitimately didn’t know they were traveling to Indy. The Pats don’t look ahead.. that’s part of why they’re always so prepared to the game at hand
