Listen I don’t know what the fuck is going on here. If you email somebody something you shouldn’t be whining like a little girl when they use it. That’s like people who freak out when I don’t credit them with a story. Sorry bro. I got a million emails coming in a day. I’m just trying to live over here. You know you helped the Stool out. That should be good enough for you. But maybe that’s not how it works in the music world? So here is my solution to this whole debacle. Up North and all their fans should by tickets to all 3 Back To Stool shows because Mac Miller is going to be performing at all 3 and they can keep confronting the shit out of him. Or they can just all hug it out and get it over it. Either way just buy the fucking tickets to our shows and we can figure out the details later.

The production comes first then Mac puts his lyrics to that beat…. If people dont like the beat the they dont give a fuck about what you are saying…. except one kid in the video basically says the credit was there the whole time and they didn’t know how to read the youtube correctly which makes sense. Said it was in the details. Lots of people miss that. Then kid goes home and says somehow it magically appeared. Maybe it was there the whole time? That would be my guess. Now it’s gone. Probably because Mac got pissed and was like fuck you

Yeah that’s not how it works in the music world…at all. Amateur producers have all of their work very accessible, they have soundclik pages, myspace, youtube, etc. and contact tons of artists, some they don’t even want to work with just to get their stuff out there. The general rules is you contact the producer when you want to use a beat or work with him on some new stuff. If the artists are on an equal scale in skill, usually its free and the producer just uses the word of mouth and publicity as payment. Its reallll frowned upon to take a producers work and not give him credit. It show Mac Miller doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing, he’s in over his head. He doesn’t straight up embarrass himself on the mic, but he isn’t dope by any means, so this can straight up end his career. Producers are real loyal to each other, and he’s gonna have a real hard time getting quality beats from now on. For the record though, that beat wasn’t hot at all…it wasn’t terrible but it was a throwaway beat, dime a dozen.
