   Not being like Mazz and “isn’t it great that the Yankees won?” but the way Yankmee fans constantly mention Boston is a great feeling. That never happened before when the Sox had never won. They wouldn’t even mention Boston but now, even with an obviously ridiculous bought championship, they act like they won a world war. It will be funny watching them ride the bogus championship with no chance of a basketball, hockey, or football title ever happening-even with multiple teams there.

    Congratulations, the overpaid collection of mercinaries finally won something.

    But after 2004 and the embarassment of the past 5 years up until now, Yankee fans really have no business even commenting on us. They’ve had plenty of time to enjoy their last 5 winters with nightmares of 2004.

    I’ll second Buddy Revel’s comment. I love it when Yankee fans are obsessed with Boston. Totally trashes the idea that in NY they don’t focus 100% on the Sox. Sad part is, Boston fans admit we hate NY, but Yankees fans on the radio will say they don’t care, then you see this and a million other signs just like at the stadium. What a bunch of frauds.

    Ummm, I think the definition of a loser might be someone who spells it “looser”

    I’m a Sox fan but enough with the money/bought championship thing. 25 other cities could say that about the Sox titles. It would take 10 straight Yankees championships to take the sting out of gagging that 3-0 lead in 2004.

    Does this mean a new generation of “I was a Yankees fan during the lean years” morons? Because, I mean, the last several years in which they spent 1.3 Billion dollars and got squat were pretty lean. And nothing proves your a baseball fan like sticking with your team during those “lean” years.

    i hate all these “yankees team of the decade” statements. yankess were the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTEMENT in baseball for about 6 years straight, so how does 1 WS at the tail end of an awesome 90′s era and one WS they were supposed to win make that true?

    Yankees won two World Series and four pennants. They also had the best overall record of any team for the decade.

    Shit, by the end of next decade I will have probably seen the Yankees win more World Series’ than the Red Sux won in their entire history.

    Must suck that the Red Sox suck a giant dick this year and will get dominated for years to come by the Yankees but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
